Former Vieques mayor describes the challenges a governor has, having to think about creating new jobs, receiving US funds and territory distribution while aligning all those things to the people's desires regarding the island. He speaks of agriculture on Vieques and all the different products that can be cultivated to generate money for the island and the people. He speaks of the Vieques laboratory and how it must include all aspects of Puerto Rico. Radamés Tirado Guevara says Vieques is a miracle when asked about the pros and cons of fragmentation on the island and how in his administrative roles he has helped negotiate strategies with the different groups on the island. He says he is hopeful that what lies ahead in Vieques’ future will be what the island wants.
