Description
Carlos Zenon speaks of the Puerto Rican administration and how they do not have a governor, rather someone who administrates federal funds. He then goes into detail explaining Plan A and Plan B and how the US threatened to take away their government funding if Puerto Rico could not control the Vieques threat. Later on Zenon's son speaks to the vice mayor presenting a letter that speaks about the issues in Vieques and what they are looking for, he continues speaking about an epidemiology report on the effects of the naval contamination on the island. Edwin Melendez speaks further about cancer on the island and how leukemia is among the most common of its forms in Vieques. Edwin's mother speaks of the youth, financial struggles and cancer.
