Porque en el fondo, el planteamiento mío era ese. La historia me va a absolver como a Fidel Castro lo absolvió, porque la historia… absolver no es otra cosa que darte la razón. En toda la lucha de Vieques fuimos pasando por momentos críticos, de crecimiento. Por ejemplo, hoy tú no llegaste a ir allá abajo, pero hoy había bastantes personas allá abajo, bastantes personas. Eso es, así son los movimientos. Los movimientos empiezan, se van desarrollando, hasta que llegan a su clímax. Había gente diciendo “ah, pero acá no hay como cien personas”. Así son los movimientos. Los movimientos suman, suman, suman. Fidel empezó con ochenta y pico de personas cuando atacó, cuando vino en el barco Granma. Empezó con pocos. Y terminó ¿con qué? Con todo un pueblo. Y así es que empiezan las luchas. Empiezan con pocos.
